OpenOrange / Using OpenOrange
Terms of service
What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
Effective October 1, 2026 · Published in English
Using OpenOrange
These terms cover the OpenOrange website, apps, plugins, command-line client and services provided by the OpenOrange team (“we” or “us”). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have permission to do so. A separate agreement with us takes priority where it conflicts with these terms. Independently operated workspaces may have their own terms.
Your access and use
Use only accounts, workspaces, data and tools you are authorized to access. Keep your access credentials safe. You are responsible for the tasks you request and for reviewing their results. Do not use OpenOrange for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, impersonation, malware, unauthorized access or attempts to evade security, usage or billing limits.
Your content and connected services
As between you and us, you retain your rights in the content you provide. You allow us to process that content as needed to provide the service and carry out your requests. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Your requests may use AI providers or connected tools. Their terms also apply. When you use OpenOrange through ChatGPT or another assistant, that service also handles the content and results shared with it. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; check it before relying on it or allowing consequential actions.
Trials, previews and charges
Trials and previews depend on available capacity and may have limits or expiry dates shown when you use them. An unclaimed temporary workspace and its data may be deleted after its displayed expiry. Complete the offered Keep or claim flow before expiry if you want to retain it, and keep your own copies of important work.
Free access is not a promise of permanent availability or unchanged limits. Any paid use is subject to the prices and conditions presented for that service or separately agreed with you. We will not change charges already incurred retroactively. Third-party services may charge you separately.
Availability and responsibility
We may change, limit or discontinue features, and suspend access to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements. We will give reasonable notice where practical. You can stop using OpenOrange at any time; contact us to request account or workspace deletion.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free results or preservation of data. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a new effective date here. Material changes will be brought to your attention before they take effect where required by law. Changes apply prospectively and do not override a separate agreement or your rights under applicable law.
