Create virtual machines for agents and your own apps from a configured catalog, give apps HTTPS domains, and see each machine’s running time next to your other usage.

Every OpenOrange instance comes with compute you can see and manage. Each agent runs on its own dedicated virtual machine, administrators create machines for their own apps, and every machine’s running time is counted next to model and service usage.

## A machine for every agent

OpenClaw and Hermes agents each run on their own dedicated virtual machine, so one agent’s tools, files, and load stay apart from another’s. Deleting an agent deletes its machine too.

## Machines for your own apps

Administrators create virtual machines from the instance’s configured catalog, choosing the provider, location, and size. Each starts as a clean Debian machine with your SSH key. You review a plan before anything is created, and the dashboard says when a machine rents paid capacity.

## HTTPS domains

Give an app on one of your machines its own HTTPS domain: a domain you own, routed through a managed edge, or a name under your instance’s domain that points straight at the machine. The app keeps its own certificate and login.

## Usage you can see

The Compute page lists every machine with its type, location, and status. Running time is counted per day, including stopped machines, and appears with the rest of your usage.

## Backups

Coming soon: opt-in daily backups and snapshots of every machine, plus nightly backups stored off the server.

## Questions

### Who can create machines?

Administrators. Members use the agents and projects that run on them, while infrastructure controls stay with the people managing the instance.

### Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Route a domain you own through a managed edge to an app on one of your machines, or use a name under your instance’s domain.
